Ashok Nagar metro station
The Metro Station Ashok Nagar ( Tamil : அசோக் நகர் ) is an above-ground subway station of Chennai Metro . It is served by the Green Line .
The Ashok Nagar metro station is located in the Ashok Nagar district of the same name in southwest Chennai at the intersection of the Inner Ring Road (100 Feet Road) and Anna Main Road. The station is designed as a high station. It opened on June 29, 2015 as part of the first section of the Green Line.
