Vadapalani metro station
The metro station Vadapalani ( Tamil : வடபழனி ) is an above-ground subway station of Chennai Metro . It is served by the Green Line .
The Vadapalani metro station is located in the Vadapalani district of the same name in western Chennai at the intersection of the Inner Ring Road (100 Feet Road) and the Arcot Road arterial road. The station is designed as a high station and is located above Inner Ring Road. The Forum Vijaya Mall and the Murugan Temple of Vadapalani are in the immediate vicinity of the metro station . The Vadapalani metro station opened on June 29, 2015 as part of the first section of the Green Line.
