Metsämaa [ mɛtsæmɑː ] is a former municipality in the southwest Finland landscape Finland Proper and today part of the city Loimaa .

The church village of Metsämaa is located on the Kojonjoki River around twelve kilometers northeast of Loimaa city center. In the place there is a wooden church from 1777. The community Metsämaa had an area of ​​93.0 km² and most recently almost 1,200 inhabitants. At the beginning of 1976 it was incorporated into what was then the rural community of Loimaa . In 2005, the Loimaa community merged with the Loimaa city.
