Mibu no Tadamine
Mibu no Tadamine ( Japanese 壬 生 忠 岑 ; * approx. 860 ; † approx. 920 ) was a Japanese Waka poet of the Heian period . He is one of the thirty-six immortals of poetry . His son Mibu no Tadami was also a respected Waka poet.
Although he only has a lower military rank in public life. B. A member of the imperial bodyguard on the left ( sakon'e-fu ) and the palace guard on the right ( uemon-fu ), Mibu no Tadamine was at the same time a waka poet of the highest order. He was the compiler of the anthology Kokin-wakashū . In addition to this collection of poems, the Tadamine-shū collection has also been preserved. He is also known for his participation in Kampyō no Ontoki Kisai no Miya no Utaawase ( 寛 平 御 時 后宮 歌 合 ) between 889 and 893, one of the first poetry competitions ( utaawase ).
According to the Yamato Monogatari , he was a Zuishin of Fujiwara no Sadakuni .
