Michael-Andreas Butz
Michael-Andreas Butz (born August 5, 1948 ) is a German lawyer and former press spokesman for the Federal Minister of the Interior and the Senate of Berlin .
Butz completed a law degree with a doctorate in law. iur. He was press spokesman in the Federal Ministry of the Interior under Minister Friedrich Zimmermann (CSU). From 1992 he held the rank of State Secretary as Senate Speaker under the Governing Mayor Eberhard Diepgen . When he changed coalition to Klaus Wowereit (SPD) in June 2001 , he resigned and was succeeded as Senate spokesman by Helmut Lölhöffel .
Then Butz worked as a lawyer and in management consulting. He belongs to the CDU .
