Michael Brüsehaber

Michael Brüsehaber (born September 10, 1953 ) was a football player in the GDR . In 1975 he played for FC Hansa Rostock in the GDR Oberliga , the top division of the East German Football Association.

Brüsehaber has played for FC Hansa Rostock in the junior league since 1969, and with it was GDR runner-up in 1970 and third in the championship in 1971. In 1971 he was part of the squad of the GDR junior national team. With her he played on July 30, 1971 in Pirna the international game GDR - Finland (2: 1). Brüsehaber made his debut in the men's division on November 28, 1971 in the second-class GDR league playing 2nd team of FC Hansa. In 1972/73 he was a member of the regular team as a defender with 17 appearances in 22 matches played. After the mixed 1973/74 season with only ten GDR league games, he had his most successful season at Hansa in 1974/75. At first he was an undisputed regular player with 20 appearances in the 2nd team, and he was also part of the squad of the 1st team in the league for a while. After he had already played in the cup game Berliner FC Dynamo II - Hansa Rostock (0: 4) on October 5, 1974, he was also the left defender in the Oberliga league game Dynamo Dresden - Hansa Rostock (1: 0) on October 16, 1974 used. The 1st Hansa team had to be relegated at the end of the season and now played for their part in the GDR league in 1975/76, but Brüsehaber was not used there.

In 1977 Brüsehaber was called up for military service and during this time he played football for the GDR league club Vorwärts Neubrandenburg . After his release in the summer of 1979, he returned to Rostock, but now joined the company sports association Schiffahrt / Hafen Rostock playing in the GDR league . With this team he was represented in the second-highest GDR soccer class until 1985. Then Schiffahrt / Hafen was relegated to the Rostock district league , and the now 32-year-old Brüsehaber did not return to higher-class football.
