Michael Dobler

Michael Dobler (* 1976 ) is a German economist.

Life

He studied business administration at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . There he received his doctorate in 2000 after obtaining a diploma and a Master of Business Research (2003) in July 2004 with a thesis on risk reporting, which was awarded the Munich Research Prize for Auditing.

A research stay at the University of Ottawa was followed by his habilitation in February 2009 with work at the interface between regulation and economics of national and international accounting and auditing, as well as a call to the Technical University of Dresden . Here he was appointed professor in September 2009 and has since held the professorship for business administration, in particular auditing and taxation.
