Isaak Maus (born September 8, 1748 in Badenheim , † December 31, 1833 ) was a German writer, farmer and mayor of Badenheim.

Life

Maus published his first book in 1786 with the title Poems and Letters from Isaak Maus - Bauersmann in Badenheim . In 1809 he was elected mayor of Badenheim and held this office for 15 years.

There is Isaak-Maus-Strasse in Badenheim, which was laid out in the 1970s. The tomb of Isaak Maus in the cemetery in Badenheim is a listed building .
