Reinhard Roericht

Reinhard Roericht (born October 3, 1945 in Naumburg / Saale ; † April 8, 2012 in Bonn ) was a German politician of the FDP .

education and profession

Reinhard Roericht attended a mathematical and scientific high school, which he graduated from high school in 1965. From 1965 to 1969 he studied history, sociology and political science at the University of Cologne and the Technical University of Aachen . He was head of the press and information office at the Technical University of Aachen from 1969 to 1975. After that, his employment relationship was suspended in accordance with the state law. After reunification, he worked in the Brandenburg Ministry of Education, where he was involved in the reorganization of education and higher education.

Reinhard Roericht became a member of the FDP and the German Young Democrats in 1964 . Later he was also a member of the German group of the Liberal International . In 1967/68 he was a member of the board of the Liberal Student Union of Germany under Klaus Allerbeck . In 1970 he became a member of the FDP state committee in North Rhine-Westphalia . From 1971 to 1975 he was treasurer of the Association of Liberal Academics and then until 1977 its president. He became a delegate to the Federal Main Committee and the Federal Party Congress in 1974. From 1972 he served as councilor for the city of Aachen.

Reinhard Roericht was a member of the 8th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from May 28, 1975 to May 28, 1980 , into which he entered via the state list.
