Michael Eggert (born September 29, 1952 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Eggert's professional career began in the Ruhr area at VfL Bochum . He made his first division debut on June 2, 1973, the 33rd matchday of the 1972/73 season, against Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , when he was substituted on in the 70th minute for Hans-Werner Hartl . In the following season he was able to fight for a regular place. Until he left in 1980 he was part of the Bochum team. For the 1980/81 season there was a transfer to 1. FC Nürnberg , where he was soon only a reservist. After he was sorted out in 1982, he continued his law studies and was assistant to the management of a Nuremberg real estate company.

Later he played for the lower class FSV Bad Windsheim.
