Michael Forster

Michael "Goofy" Förster (born July 6, 1954 in Gelsenkirchen-Buer ) is a German presenter . He also works as a DJ and model.

After graduating from high school in 1975, he moved to his adopted home Bavaria, which is still valid today. First Rottach-Egern am Tegernsee, where he worked as a DJ in the trendy bar “Moschner” from 1976.

At the same time, Goofy Förster began studying dentistry. While still a student, he began working for radio and television. Goofy Förster began his career in 1983 with a private radio station in Munich. Two years later he switched to Radio Gong 96.3 as editor and presenter .

From 1986 Goofy Förster moderated at "Musicbox", the forerunner of the later television station "Tele 5". From 1992 onwards he ran the game show “TicTacToe” a total of 171 times on “RTL” in Cologne. He stayed at Radio Gong as the chief editor for the travel and music department and also worked as a consultant in the press and events area. Until 2000 he ran the two-hour travel show “Reisefieber” on Radio Gong himself.

Further stations in Förster's career include switching to Home Order Television (HOT), Germany's first sales channel, moderation for events and companies as well as freelance journalistic work for the “Travel” section of various magazines. From 2001 he specialized in the travel sector with the TM3 program “Urlaubreif”. He continued this broadcast on the successor broadcaster “Neun Live” under the name “sonnenklar TV”, which is also the name of his travel shopping channel.

At the regional broadcaster “münchen TV” he has been running the weekly sports program “Sport Arena” as an editor and presenter since 2005.
