Michael Hauke
Michael Hauke (born May 21, 1951 ) is a former German soccer player who played second division soccer in Blankenburg (Harz) in the 1970s and 1980s .
Life
Until 1974 Michael Hauke played with the company sports club (BSG) Stahl Blankenburg in the third-class district league Magdeburg . The BSG finished the 1973/74 season as district champion and thus qualified for the second-rate GDR league . The 23-year-old striker Hauke also belonged to the promoted team. Then Hauke played with Stahl Blankenburg for nine seasons in the GDR league. His preferred position was the right side of the storm, where he distinguished himself as an accurate goalscorer. Seven times he was top scorer of the Blankenburg and 1978 with eleven goals also top scorer of the league season C. Overall, he scored 77 goals in his 178 GDR league games. Hauke played his last GDR league season in 1982/83 at the age of 31, in which he was now mainly used as a center forward and with seven goals was again the top scorer of his team. As the bottom of the table, this no longer managed to stay in the league and, like Michael Hauke, did not return to higher-class football. Hauke continued to play competitive football with the old men’s team of the Blankenburger FV until the 2000s.
