Michael Henry Hicks Beach, 3rd Earl St. Aldwyn (born February 7, 1950 ) is a British peer and politician.
life and career
Hicks Beach's parents are Michael John Hicks Beach, 2nd Earl St. Aldwyn , and Diana Mary Christian Mills. He was born the first of three children. His two brothers are Peter Hugh and David Seymour. In 1982 he married Gilda Maria Saavedra, with whom he has two daughters, Atalanta Maria and Aurora Ursula.
When his father died on January 29, 1992, he inherited his title as 3rd Earl St. Aldwyn . He sat in the House of Lords until November 11, 1999, when he resigned under the House of Lords Act 1999 .
