Michael Kort

Michael Kort (born September 28, 1957 in Dortmund ) is a German lawyer and has held the chair for civil law, commercial law, industrial property law and labor law at the Law Faculty of the University of Augsburg since 2002 .

Career

At first, Kort studied at the University of Bochum from 1975 to 1977 , but switched to the University of Munich from 1977 and continued his studies there until the second state examination in 1984. He was there in 1985 with the thesis The conclusion of control and profit transfer agreements in the LLC law to Dr. jur. doctorate and worked as a lawyer, academic advisor and employee of a large business law firm in Munich . From 2002 he was given a chair in civil law, commercial law, commercial legal protection and labor law in Augsburg.
