Michael Locher

Michael Locher (born September 20, 1956 ), often also called Mick Locher , is a presenter and reporter for knowledge topics at the television station WELT (formerly N24).

He was born in the Konstanz district and grew up in the southern Black Forest. After graduating from high school and doing military service, he decided to study theater studies in Munich .

His career in the media industry began at Südkurier Konstanz, where he worked as a volunteer and later as a local editor in South Baden. He made his first experiences with television at the American television station KEZI TV. Through various jobs as an editor and reporter for major German broadcasters such as RTL , ProSieben or NDR , he received his first leading role as a special correspondent and head of the service at the headquarters of the news production of Sat.1 .

Since 2003 he has been with the news channel WELT (formerly N24). Until 2006 he was editor and presenter of the magazine “Research & Flies” and is the author of numerous reports for the Berlin news channel.
