Michael Philippen

Michael Philippen (born May 8, 1968 in Stralsund ) is a German local politician, handball trainer and former handball player.
He has been the parliamentary group leader of the Citizens for Stralsund parliamentary group (BfS) in the Stralsund citizenship since 2009.
Michael Philippen played active handball at Stralsund HV in the 2nd Bundesliga until 2002 . From July 2009 to June 2011 he trained the club's first men's team together with Ulf Ganzert ; from January to May 2013 he took over this post again.
