Michael Pichler (born July 28, 1982 ) is a former Austrian cyclist .

Career

Michael Pichler began his career in 2002 with the Arboe Merida-Graz cycling team . In 2004 he switched to the Resch & Frisch Eybl Wels cycling club . In his first year there, he was Austrian champion in road racing in the U23 class. In 2006 Pichler moved to the Professional Continental Team Elk Haus-Simplon . There he won a stage on the Peace and Friendship Tour and was also second overall. In the 2007 season he was successful in the Purgstall circuit race. 2008 to 2010 Pichler again for the team RC Arbö Resch & Frisch Gourmetfein Wels .
