Michael Poladjan

Michael Poladjan ( Russian Михаил Поладян ; * 1938 in Moscow ) is a freelance artist .

Life

Michael Poladjan studied at the Moscow Art Academy, where he received his diploma in 1965. He then completed further training as a set designer and artistic designer for theater , film and television , which he also completed in 1967 with a diploma. In 1977 he emigrated to Germany , where he has been working as a freelance artist ever since.

Michael Poladjan took part in group exhibitions in Moscow, London, New York, Paris, Sofia, Saint Petersburg, Yerevan, Berlin, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Heidelberg, Kiel, Cologne, Mannheim, Munich, Nuremberg, Stuttgart and Tübingen. Since 1983 his works can be seen regularly in solo exhibitions in Munich . Michael Poladjan also had solo exhibitions abroad, for example in Armenia and Italy .

Works by him are u. a. Exhibited in the State Russian Museum in Saint Petersburg , the Museum of Modern Art in Moscow , the State National Gallery in Yerevan , the Parajanov Museum in Yerevan and the Armenian Patriarchate Museum in Edzhmiadzin . In Germany there are works by him u. a. in the museum at the cathedral in Würzburg .

In 1986 he was registered with a biographical entry in the “General Lexicon of Artists in the Fine and Creative Arts of the Late XX. Century "recorded. He is a member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists Germany and lecturer at the Schwanthaler Art School in Munich .

His daughter Katerina (* 1971) is a successful actress and writer in Germany.
