Michael Schano
Michael Schano (born May 14, 1947 in Baden near Vienna ), also Michael J. Schano, Michael Josef Schano, is an Austrian writer . He lives with his family in Tokyo / Japan and Baden.
Life
In 1990 his non-fiction book Japan - the winning strategy on the success of Japanese management and the rise of the former agricultural country in the Far East to an economic superpower in Asia and the world was published in Vienna.
In 2002 his first novel The Soldier and the Girl was published. The novel has been translated into Japanese, English and Spanish. The Japanese version of the book was published by Tokyo publisher Bungeisha in 2012.
Schano works as chairman of the subsidiary of an Austrian motorcycle company in Tokyo.
