Michaelis quarter

Michaelis Quarter, Hamburg

The Michaelis Quarter in Hamburg is an ensemble of buildings designed in the 1990s by the Munich architect Otto Steidle (1943–2004). It is located in Hamburg's Neustadt district not far from the “ Hamburger Michels ” and consists of a multi-storey building complex with a colorful clinker facade in the commercial block as well as yellow plastered buildings in the approximately 150-unit apartment blocks.
