Michel Casella

Michel Ángel Casella or Miguel Ángel Casella (born February 15, 1940 ) is a former Argentine judoka .

In 1964 judo was on the Olympic program for the first time. At the Olympic tournament in Tokyo there were five heavyweight groups, each with three fighters, from which the winner rose to the final round. Michel Casella won without a fight (through Fusen-gachi) against the Malaysian Teck Bee Ang , but lost against the eventual Olympic champion Isao Inokuma by a shoulder throw . Together with the other runners-up in the group, he is sixth in the heavyweight division.
