Michel Najjar

Michel Najjar ( Arabic ميشال نجار, DMG Mīšāl Naǧǧār ; * around 1970) is a Lebanese university professor . From January to August 2020 he was Minister for Public Works in the Diab cabinet .

Michel Najjar has worked at Balamand University, both academically and administratively, as Dean of Science and Technology and Vice President of Administrative Development and Public Affairs. From July 2019 he was Executive President of the American University of Technology (AUT) and Dean of the Faculty of Management. On June 21, 2020, as a representative of the Greek Orthodox community and appointed by the Marada movement, he became Minister for Public Works and Transport in the cabinet of Hassan Diab .

After Hassan Diab resigned as Prime Minister on August 10, 2020, the minister remained in office until a new cabinet was formed.
