Michele Bardsley

Michele Bardsley (* 1970 in Tulsa , Oklahoma , USA ) is an American author who writes novels with paranormal subjects. She is best known for her Broken Heart series. It describes a small town where supernatural adults live with mortal children and struggle with unusual aspects of their new life as vampires.

Career

Bardsley signed her first writing contract in 1998 and subsequently released a romantic comedy, "Daddy in Training". She wrote a number of short stories, short stories and novels for various publishers. She also wrote articles for US magazines.

She received several awards from various organizations, including:

  • Grand Prize in the 72nd Annual Writer's Digest Writing Competition for A Mother Scorned
  • OWFI's coveted trophy award for Best Book of Fiction for Wild Women
  • FWA's Royal Palm Award for Best Romance Novel for Wild Women
  • Crème de la crème from the Oklahoma Writer's Federation, Inc. for A Demon is a Girl's Best Friend

Bardsley holds workshops on inspiration, writing techniques, romantic heroes, vampire fiction, electronic publishing, and other topics.
