Microgramma (font)
Microgramma is a font that was designed in 1952 by graphic designers Alessandro Butti and Aldo Novarese for the Nebiolo type foundry. The font is a sans serif font with a constructed character and is one of the most popular fonts.
History and use
The font had a unique design at the time of its release. The principles of Swiss typography were all observed. Originally, the font was only designed for headings and lettering. The similar typeface Eurostile , later designed by Aldo Novarese, was expanded to include numerous characters and can therefore also be used as a text font . The microgramma was u. a. used by Halliburton or Air Zaire .
