Eurostile is a popular sans serif font with a constructed character.

The screen font, created by Aldo Novarese in 1962, caused a sensation in the 1960s, although it is only the slightly modified version of the Microgramma with minuscules that appeared ten years earlier.

The legibility of the Eurostile on the screen lags behind other fonts in its class because of their geometric character . Nevertheless, it is used extensively as screen font in some places, for example in video games such as StarCraft II , Ratchet & Clank or Halo: Reach .

The Eurostile is used, for example, in the logos of Toshiba , Casio and Diadora or in that of the Eurovision Song Contest . At Carl Zeiss it is used to label lenses , at Cadillac it is used to label the instrument cluster and other controls in the car.

The Eurostile of the Canadian Journey series of the Canadian dollar served as the standard font on banknotes .
