Microsoft Space Simulator

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Microsoft Space Simulator is a space flight simulation from 1994 for MS-DOS and PC-98 . Like the Microsoft Flight Simulator, it was developed by Bruce Artwick and distributed by Microsoft Home .

With different spaceships the space can be explored and z. B. Space stations are flown to or special missions are carried out. An attempt was made to achieve a high degree of realism (e.g. the lack of friction in a vacuum). If necessary, there is support from the autopilot and on-board computer.

The space simulator supported high screen resolutions of up to 800 × 600 ( SVGA ) for the time.
