The MieterMagazin (MM) is the members ' magazine of the Berlin tenants' association .

Legal and practical questions from the area of tenancy law , in particular housing tenancy law , are dealt with . The magazine also deals with topics of housing policy and urban development , background information, international reports and consumer and energy tips.

Although the publisher is a local tenants 'association - albeit the largest nationwide - and a regional association of the German Tenants' Association , the magazine also deals with questions of tenancy law that are outside the regional context of Berlin and the surrounding area. Important judgments of the tenant courts , especially the Federal Court of Justice , are explained and linked in the online edition.

The MieterMagazin is published in ten issues a year (double issues over Christmas and summer).

The magazine initially appeared as a Berlin tenant newspaper since 1952. The notices under tenancy law were included as a supplement .

The managing editor is Hermann Behlau, the editor-in-chief is Udo Hildenstab. According to the company's own information, the circulation is approx. 110,000 copies (as of 2002), 1,000 of which result from sales.
