Borsbergstrasse 14

The rental villa Borsbergstrasse 14 is a listed corner building on Borsbergstrasse, corner of Krenkelstrasse opposite the Sacred Heart Church in the Striesen district of Dresden .

The Jewish doctor Willy Katz had his practice in the building. During the Nazi era, he was the only doctor in Dresden who was allowed to treat the Jewish residents of Dresden. The interior of the practice was handed over to the Washington Holocaust Museum in 1990 .

The building survived the air raids on Dresden undamaged. In the post-war period, the house became the first polyclinic in Dresden, with Katz becoming the chief doctor. In the 1970s, doctors of the NVA were working in the house . In the house, which has been restored today, there are practices of lawyers and doctors.
