Nijntje (Dutch: [nɛintʃɛ]) is a picture book figure designed by Dick Bruna from the Netherlands in 1955.

Originally, mainly Nijntje children's books were published, each consisting of 16 square pages, next to which the story was told in four lines per page. Short Nijntje films and numerous merchandising products were later released .

Besides Nijntje, a white, female rabbit, numerous other characters appear in the books and films, such as Nijntje's parents and grandparents, her friends Dan and Nina as well as Aagje and Willemijn and also bears and pigs.

The name Nijntje is derived from the Dutch word konijntje ("rabbit"). In German and English editions is Miffy with Miffy and Nina translated. The name Nientje or Ninchen can still be found on older German products .

The drawings are very minimalistic and are limited to the most necessary black lines and a few basic colors for filling areas.
