Story and content

The portal was founded in 2003 by the German lawyer Günter Renner . Since his death in August 2005, it has been continued in terms of content and subject matter by Klaus Dienelt and has since been economically transferred to Migrationsrecht.net GmbH, which was founded for this purpose.

With its content created by professional practitioners from the judiciary and administration, it is aimed at people interested in immigration law in the public, academia, administration and jurisdiction. Most of the information is only available to paying members. In addition, there are irregular reports and comments on current legislative proposals and court decisions, which are also subject to a charge. Some restricted or older content is accessible free of charge, but then clearly labeled with watermarks or large footnotes.

Most of the content is posted in German.
