Klaus Dienelt

Klaus Dienelt (born August 11, 1964 in Kaufbeuren ) is a German lawyer .

Career

Klaus Dienelt has been a judge at the Darmstadt Administrative Court since 1993, where he mainly deals with matters relating to immigration and asylum law. From 2006 to 2008 he was a deputy judge and research assistant at the 10th Senate of the Federal Administrative Court , which u. a. is responsible for disputes relating to aliens and asylum law. In June 2015 he was appointed presiding judge and has taken over the chairmanship of the 5th chamber at the Darmstadt Administrative Court, which is also responsible for immigration law.

He received his doctorate in 2004 on the subject of freedom of movement after the EU's eastward expansion . Is Dienelt operator of art-recognized portal for immigration law and immigration law migrationsrecht.net , co-author of the local online comments on immigration law and is co-editor responsible for parts of the popular German laws commentary on immigration law , the Bergmann / Dienelt . He is the author of numerous articles in specialist journals and other compilations relating to immigration law. Dienelt is a member of the scientific advisory board of the journal for immigration law and immigration policy .

As an expert, he was heard by the Interior Committee of the German Bundestag on legislative projects relating to immigration law .
