Miguel Acosta Moreno (born September 4, 1975 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender .

Life

Moreno began his professional career at Mexico's most popular club, Chivas Guadalajara , for whom he made his debut in the Mexican Primera División in a guest appearance at the UNAM Pumas on October 3, 1997 , which was won 1-0.

He made his breakthrough at Club Necaxa , to which he moved in 1999 and for whom he scored his first goal in the top Mexican division on February 11, 2001 in the 1: 2 defeat at the UNAM Pumas. After six years at Necaxa, Acosta moved to the Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz in the summer of 2005 , where he was under contract for the next two years before returning to his former club Necaxa, where he ended his active career in the 2007/08 season .
