Mihai Paduretu

Mihai Paduretu (born January 18, 1967 in Bucharest , Romania ) was the coach of the volleyball Bundesliga club Generali Haching for seventeen years until 2014 .

The native Romanian Mihai Paduretu played successfully on the player position in his home country . In 1991 he came as a player in the German Bundesliga for ASV Dachau , which was German champion in 1995 under coach Stelian Moculescu . In 1997, Mihai Paduretu moved to Generali Haching as a player- coach , where he was promoted to the first division in 2000 . Under his leadership, Generali Haching developed into a top team in German men's volleyball. In 2009 and 2010 the runner-up was achieved, from 2009 to 2011 he won the DVV Cup three times in a row and Generali Haching played in the Champions League for the first time in the 2010/11 season . In 2012 Paduretu led the Hachinger to runner-up again and in 2013 to win the cup. After the withdrawal of the main sponsor Generali Deutschland , Generali Haching withdrew from the Bundesliga in 2014.

Mihai Paduretu is married and has two children.
