Michael Charles "Mike" Aljoe (born March 7, 1964 in Buffalo , New York ) is a former American bobsleigh athlete .
Aljoe was already active in high school in football and continued this at the University of Oklahoma . Due to his sporting achievements, he was appointed to the US bobsleigh team as a pusher. With pilot Brent Rushlaw he took part in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary , Canada . They could not finish the competition in the two-man bobsleigh. Aljoe was not there in the four-man bobsleigh, although he achieved the best start times in the US trials prior to the games.
