Michael Christopher "Mike" Fillery (born September 17, 1960 in Mitcham ) is a former English football player .

Life

Fillery began his career at Chelsea FC as an amateur. In 1978 he was accepted into the professional squad of the Blues. He made his debut on April 4, 1979 against Derby County . After four years and 32 league goals later, he moved to the Queens Park Rangers in 1983 . The transfer fee for Fillery was £ 155,000. In 1987 it went on to Portsmouth FC . After three years at Pompey, he played a few more games at Oldham Athletic , Millwall FC and Torquay United . After his playing career he was assistant coach at Crawley Town in 1994 and later youth coach at Chelsea FC.
