Mitcham is a borough of London and is located south of Streatham. It belongs to the London Borough of Merton . Until 1965 it was a parish in County Surrey, England . Neighboring neighborhoods are Norbury , Tooting and Streatham . The postal code of Mitcham is CR4.

Mitcham Eastfields Station

Mitcham has two train stations, Mitcham Junction and Mitcham Eastfields. Both are served by Southern and Thameslink with direct connections to London Victoria Station , London Bridge (peak hours only), Blackfriars , City Thameslink , St Pancras Station for London's inner city train stations , as well as direct connections to St Albans , Bedford and Luton International Airport to the north as well Epsom , Horsham and Dorking to the south. The trains on the Thameslink line from central London follow the loop back towards the city center via Sutton and Wimbledon .

In 2008 the Mitcham Eastfields Station was built, from where you can travel to Waterloo or Southampton .

Croydon Tramlink connects Mitcham with Wimbledon and Croydon

Mitcham also serves London Tramlink with four stops. Trams offer direct connections to Wimbledon, Croydon and New Addington as well as connections via Croydon to Beckenham Junction and Elmers End .
