Horsham is a town in south east England on the River Arun in West Sussex with a population of around 50,000. It is approximately 40 kilometers from London and 30 kilometers from Brighton .
Horsham has several schools. Two in the city center (Millais girls' school and its male counterpart Forest), one comprehensive school in North Horsham (Tanbridge) and two on the outskirts ( Christ's Hospital private school and Weald). Christ's Hospital is a large high school in east Horsham. It was the location for the television show "Felsschule". In addition, the College of Richard Collier has existed since 1540 .
The surrounding area is agricultural, making Horsham an important market and shopping center. There are also engineering companies, breweries and pharmaceutical factories in the city. The city is home to the British video game developer Creative Assembly , best known for its Total War series.
Horsham is also the twin town of the German city of Lage (Lippe) . Student exchanges are also often carried out. In 2005 the 20th anniversary was celebrated.
