Michael Jorden (* in Dayton , Ohio ) is an American football coach , the last in the 2013 season , the franchise of Washington Spirit in the National Women's Soccer League trained.
Career
Jorden coached the women's team of the DC United franchise in the second-rate W-League until the end of 2012 and was subsequently named the first head coach in the history of the newly founded Washington Spirit, which competed in the newly created NWSL. On July 1, 2013 he was released from Washington after a five-game losing streak. His team had only been able to win one league game so far, tellingly just when Jorden was replaced by his assistant coach Kris Ward due to a hospital stay . As Jordens successor, his other assistant coach Mark Parsons was determined.
