Milk cooling tank
The milk cooling tank (or milk tank ) is usually made of stainless steel and holds the milk for the time it is stored at the producer (the farm ). The milk tank is directly connected to a cooling system, so that the milk can be cooled down to around 4 ° C immediately after milking and thus protected from spoilage. Milk collection trucks can fill up the milk from the tank and then deliver it to a dairy .
In the direct marketing of milk from the farm , a steel cow can be connected to the milk cooling tank, from which private consumers can draw raw milk in bottles.
