Milha

The milha was a Portuguese measure of length and referred to the Portuguese small mile . The big mile was the Legoa .

The introduction of the new system of measures and weights in Portugal by the end of 1862 had little influence on mile measurements outside of Lisbon and Porto .

  • 1 Milha = 8 Estádios = 9389 ⅓ Palmos = 2065.653 meters
  • 3 Milhas = 1 Legoa
