Military driver's license
A military driver's license is a license to drive military vehicles in the Swiss Army . There the driving authorizations are regulated in detail. Each acquired military category is entered in the civilian driver's license (if in credit card format) below the civilian categories. Some of the driving authorizations acquired from army vehicles automatically result in an entry for the civilian driving authorization, for example 930 automatically results in the civilian C.
Military driver's license categories from January 1, 2004 according to the «Army XXI Regulation»:
- in general, the zero at the end of the code number means "without further restriction"; a non-zero means further specification or restriction.
- In general, the civilian driver's license category B must be available in order to drive motorized vehicles in the military. Exception: 910 may also be learned / managed by civil A1, A- or A.
