The Tyrol Military Command is a military association of the Austrian Armed Forces . Since the reform of the armed forces in 2016 , Jäger Battalion 6 and the Jäger Battalion Tyrol are subordinate to the Tyrolean militia. Since August 17, 2017, the Tyrolean military command has been leading a security police assistance operation on the border with Italy .
