Percy Military Hospital

The Hôpital d'instruction des armées Percy is a military hospital in Clamart near Paris , France . It is operated by the French Army and treats both military and civilian patients. The hospital is named after Pierre-François Percy , who was a surgeon in the French army at the time of the French Revolution.

The hospital has a specially equipped department for burn victims and the treatment of radioactively contaminated patients.

Prominent patients

The leader of the PLO Yasser Arafat was treated here from October 29, 2004 until his death on November 11, 2004.

Former Lebanese Minister Bassel Fleihan was after the attack on the convoy of Rafic Hariri discussed on 14 February 2005, in which he suffered burns on 95 percent of his skin surface, here, however, succumbed to his injuries after 63 days and died on the 18th April 2005.
