The Military School Okahandja ( English Military School Okahandja ) is the largest military school in Namibia . It is located not far south of Okahandja on the Osona base . Today it serves the basic and advanced training of the units of the Namibian Defense Force (NDF).

The basic training at the Military School Okahandja lasts six months. Since 1992, the NDF has been receiving support from the Bundeswehr advisory group for special, especially vocational training . There are also courses for officer candidates .

The school was founded in 1979 as the SWA Military School of the South West African Territory Force during the administration of South West Africa by South Africa .
