Military Merit Cross
As Militärverdienstkreuz or Military Merit Cross are called:
- the Military Merit Cross of the Electorate of Hesse-Kassel , donated in 1832
- the Mecklenburg Military Merit Cross , donated by Grand Duke Friedrich Franz II of Mecklenburg in 1848
- the Military Merit Cross of the Austrian Empire donated in 1849 by the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph I.
- the Military Merit Cross of the Principality of Waldeck , donated by Prince Georg Viktor zu Waldeck in 1854
- the Golden Military Merit Cross of the Kingdom of Prussia donated by King Wilhelm I of Prussia in 1864
- 1866 The Military Merit Cross was the main award for bravery and military merit of Bavarian soldiers. It was originally founded on July 19, 1866 as the 5th grade of the Military Merit Order
