Mill Little ( Irish An Muileann Beag ) is a small megalithic complex in the pastureland about 50.0 m west of the Cooleenlemane River and north of Ballylickey in County Cork in Ireland . The complex consists of a stone circle , a pair of menhirs and three boulder burials (also known as boulder tombs).

The stone circle

The 55 five-stone circles of Ireland consist of a ring or D-shaped arrangement of rarely more than medium-sized stones, the number of which is always five.

The Mill Little stone circle is north of the other monuments in this complex. The circle with an inner diameter of around 2.5 m is complete, but with the entrance stones broken off. The five orthostats are 1.2 to 0.75 m high, 1.0 to 0.6 m wide and 0.2 to 0.15 m thick.

The stone pair

The northeast-southwest oriented menhirs stand southeast of the other monuments, about 0.8 apart. The northeast stone is 0.75 m high, 0.7 m wide and 0.4 m thick. The second stone is 1.2 m high, 0.45 m wide and 0.3 m thick.

The boulder burials

Boulder Burial 1 is about 2 feet southwest of the stone circle. The capstone is 1.5 m long, 1.3 m wide and 1.2 m thick and rests in three-point contact on the supporting stones.

Boulder Burial 2 is located 4.5 m south of Boulder Burial 1. The capstone is 1.4 m long, 0.9 m wide and 0.9 m thick. The supporting stones in the ground are invisible.

Boulder Burial 3 is 4.5 m south of Boulder Burial 2. The capstone is 1.9 m long, 1.5 m wide and 1.3 m thick. Two of the supporting stones are next to the stone.
