Location and course

The via ferrata is located in the area of the "Adventure and Forest Adventure World Lesachtal", in the Millnatzenklamm in the village of Ladstatt , in the municipality of Lesachtal. It can be reached via Gailtal Straße (B 111). In Klebas, take the turnoff to the north and through Tscheltsch to Ladstatt to the parking lot of the adventure and forest adventure world. Then follow the signs to the entrance. The via ferrata was built by Go-Vertical on behalf of the Liesing Tourist Association and cost around 30,000 euros. It was financed by the Lesachtal community and the Alpine Association. The opening followed in June 2011.

The south-facing via ferrata leads along the course of the stream over around 300 meters in altitude and can be completed in 30 to 90 minutes, depending on experience and speed. Over the left stream wall (A / B), it goes to the first waterfall. Here you can decide whether to climb the normal route over the stream and along the right wall secured with brackets ("Via Aqua Vertical" - B / C), or to opt for the more difficult left wall passage that has existed since June 2013 ("Steinbeisser") - C / D). In 2017, a snack bench was installed directly on the rock wall at the head zone of the waterfall and allows an airy deep view.

After the waterfall, normal walkers cross a rope bridge back to the left bank. There it goes along the creek wall (A) to the second rope bridge that leads to the middle rock of a double waterfall (B). Via a stream crossing back to the left bank wall and over exposed walking terrain to the third waterfall (“spray shower” - B / C), which is climbed in the vicinity.

After a last section of the bank wall (A), it goes over the fourth waterfall ("Lumfall" - B) to the exit on the left. Following the beaten path and the red and white markings on rocks and trees, you get to the forest path and over it back to the adventure and forest adventure world.
