Milton is a suburb north of Cambridge in the United Kingdom with 4,275 inhabitants (2001 census).

The place is in the county of Cambridgeshire and is separated from Cambridge by the A14. The population doubled in the late 1980s with the construction of two residential areas from 1,720 in 1981 to 4,100 in 1991. In the decade between the 1991 and 2001 censuses, the population only grew by 175 people.

The place is the seat of the Milton Brewery , a brewery founded in 1999. Their first beer, called "Pegasus", was an instant hit and won numerous awards, including the CAMRA - Champion Beer of Britain .

There are two churches in Milton, the All Saints Church and the New Apostolic Church. The Agricultural College, an agricultural college in the village, is part of the College of West Anglia. Milton is the headquarters of Pi Group Ltd. and houses offices of the software company Symbian , known for selling the Symbian OS operating system .

Milton Cambridge Science Park, the oldest is science park in the UK. It was founded in 1970 by Trinity College , which has close ties with nearby Cambridge University . While the park is technically part of Milton, it's considered part of the city of Cambridge by residents. Cambridge Science Park is home to numerous companies, educational institutions and research institutes.
