The Minden Peak is a 670 m high mountain on South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It rises southwest of the Echo Pass .
The mountain served the 1st Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers as a training ground. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1992 after the Battle of Minden on August 1, 1795, in which this regiment was involved.
