Mini Cord was a car brand from Venezuela .
Company history
The company FACORCA , short for Fábrica de Motores y Carrocerías Cordillera CA , from Mariara agreed the production of automobiles with Rover in April 1990 . Series production began in December 1991. The brand name was Mini Cord . In addition to the inland market, Colombia and the Antilles archipelago were also sales markets . Production ended in 1995.

The only model corresponded to the Mini . However, the body was made of fiberglass . This can be recognized by the curvature of the body along the fenders and sills . A four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 998 cc drove the front wheels. Plans for a larger engine with a capacity of 1275 cm³ were not implemented. Versions as convertibles and beach wagons remained unique.
Production numbers
A total of 1309 vehicles were built. The addition of the individual annual values results in a slight deviation.
